The Toyota Tacoma is let say a survivor when it comes to large trucks in the market. The majority of the rivals have started to shrink down and we have a number of smaller vehicles running on our roads from recently. Toyota Tacoma Sports exterior

The Tacoma keeps to its standard design and does not anything fancy when it comes to its exterior looks. Most of the features haven been carried over from the previous models and actually look good on the Tacoma. The last large update that the Tacoma had was in 2005 and after that the design was more or less kept the same with some minor alterations and changes. The grille was the only thing that has perhaps been trimmed a bit while at the back it uses pillars in the traditional sense and does nothing fancy to impress. The car is robust and big and keeps to the standards of a truck and does not disappoint in its size.

The sports package on the other hand offers some key characteristics that differentiate it from other trims. It includes a lot more chrome than other models of the Tacoma. You will find it on the back fender and the front grille as well which make for a sharp new look of the vehicle. Also the side mirrors without indicators are a unique look for the Sport package. It actually does not look not even a tad slimmer and it also comes available with the Inferno red color, that is kind of a popular choice for now.

The inside of the Toyota Tacoma is more or less suited to all the trim models. You will find ample space and enough comfort to have a great ride. The interior has been generally changed with the addition of some plastic trims and a much more quality setup. The quality of the cabin has been elevated due to the inclusion of brightwork touches and bacaklit gauges.

The 2015 Toyota Tacoma Sports trim has a very unique setup inside but a very useful one. The interior is similar with the TRD off road package in fact but has a different color scheme and some differently arranged surfaces inside. The seats are made from quality and comfortable material and are made in honeycomb fashion, giving it a stylistic edge. The entire interior is very nicely arranged and within the control cluster and the steering wheel you will find easy to reach gauges and controls that will enable you to access them and use them easily while driving.

Toyota Tacoma Sports Engine

The Toyota Tacoma Sports package comes with a base engine option that includes a 2.7-liter inline-4 under its hood.  This engine trim is able to make 9 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque and is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic gear shifter. The fuel economy on the other hand does not fare well for the Tacoma. Its maximum is  21 miles per gallon in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.

Other packages include a more muscular engine trim as you can find a 4.0-liter V6 within them with an output of 236 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. But it has a less efficient EPA rating with 16 mpg city/21 mpg highway with the automatic or 16 mpg city/19 mpg highway with the manual.

Toyota Tacoma Sports Price

The thing with Toyota Tacoma vehicles is that they are now very affordable, one might say. The price is not as steep as you might think at the cars come at a very reasonable price. The various trims that the Toyota Tacoma offers span between 21,000 and 37,000 USD. The base MSRP price for the base model actually comes to 20,965 USD, and as for the Sports package, it is available for sale at around 30,000 USD. The release date is upon us soon and by the end of the year you will get the opportunity to buy the car.
