At the last year’s SEMA Auto Show there have been some pretty amazing additions to the roster of the remolded cars. Toyota had its own entries which might have been regarded as either very strange or rather peculiar.

Toyota has surprised us with its 2016 Toyota Sienna DUB Edition and the Toyota Yaris DUB edition as well. But who would have thought that a car like the Toyota Sienna could make its way on a show like SEMA.

The result managed to be more than appreciated by the public. A mini-van restyled by DUB is certainly something that no one has expected to see. And what we have gotten as a result of a DUB edition Toyota Sienna is a car that will certainly make your ears bleed, at least with its sound. The back seats have been completely thrown out and exchanged with a blasting audio system.

2016 Toyota Sienna DUB Edition Exterior

The 2016 Toyota Sienna DUB Edition features a very cool new look. The original model was actually a bit mild mannered and consisted of a design which enabled the Sienna to attract the attention of families rather than other people.

But with the DUB edition revamp, the car has been entirely changed. a more aggressive look is now checked here which rather fits the SEMA standards.

So the main linchpin of the 2016 Toyota Sienna DUB Edition is aggressiveness, and they have tried to do this by, firstly, painting the car in a unique color. So the car now has a very interesting Galaxy Grey color scheme which was provided by BASF.

Other enhancements include a custom wide body kit, tinted windows, smoked taillights and a unique and very good looking DUB edition mesh grille which actually enhances the aggressiveness of the car and its new bad boy look.

To finish the exterior design with a cherry on top are the new TIS536 concave wheels which are wrapped with 22-inch Nitto 420S tires.

Interior

The inside of the 2016 Toyota Sienna DUB Edition is very much been given the SEMA touch. DUB has made sure that this redesign fits the bill perfectly when it comes to tuned cars.

Besides the already mentioned audio system that takes up the whole back space of the car, there are some other additions that can catch your eye.

The diamond-quilted black-and-white leather seats dominate the inside and also make a much more comfortable and pleasant to look at interior.

The icing on the cake are the color-matched accents which are also added. Also included are the LED-illuminated headliner panel with splashes of black suede, embossed DUB Edition headrests and six Advent headrest monitors. It was unofficially voted as the sharpest dressed vehicle on SEMA.

Let’s also mention the audio system in some detail as it is the crown jewel of the interior of the Sienna. It is made up of six amplifiers, eight speakers and four subwoofers. It is all neatly placed inside fiberglass enclosure with leather and painted accents.

Engine of 2016 Toyota Sienna DUB Edition

As the changes and upgrades are only concerned about the aesthetics of the Toyota Sienna, the new 2016 Toyota Sienna by DUB will feature the same engine as before. So under the hood we will get to use the same 3.6-liter, V6 engine that provides 266 horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque.

This is actually quite impressive if we take into the fact that this engine actually powers a minivan, and it is even more impressive when we consider the fact that it can race from 0 to 60 mph in just 8 seconds.

As there was no tampering with the engine, DUB decided to upgrade some other things Included are the height-adjustable suspension system, which emphasis the wheels of the car, a TRD Big Brake kit and some StopTech
calipers.

Price and Date Release

When it comes to date release of 2016 Toyota Sienna there are some rumours that we can expect in in the summer of the next year.

As there are not official price quotes and no one has released a potential price for the 2016 Toyota Sienna DUB Edition, we can only try and calculate the price ourselves. If the basic Sienna costs around $28,600and we include all the additions that DUB has put in, we expect a price that can reach $60,000. But if we were to take the op-of-the-line version of the Sienna which costs $46,000, our guess is that the DUB edition will come to an astounding $90,000.
