2015 Lexus NX 300h

The new Lexus NX 300h presents a crossover that is stylistically sound enough to be taken out on the luxury market. The 2015 year model that Lexus is preparing to release ha stunning visuals and great performance numbers which can stun the competition and amaze the fans. As the small SUV market is a competitive one, where some car makers even have two or more vehicles in this segment to offer, Lexus has been struggling to comply with the needs of the market and the crowd. The NX presents a vehicle that will surely fix that and be regarded as a true competitive in the field.

In order to fight with the competition, Lexus needed to offer something new, something that they did not have before and what others don’t. A more aggressive look for starters was the best way to go and although the RX model provides a benchmark in luxury SUV market, the NX now will certainly be a big player in the mid-size competition that is constantly expanding.

Maybe it does not provide the required cargo space, but its fuel economy numbers speak for themselves. It also has a nice interior setup with some very good exterior designs. Provided from the pictures you will notice what the NX 300h has been equipped with and how good its interior and the exterior looks like. It is due to be released and time soon and it will hit the stands in a tremendous fashion as we estimate.

What the designers wanted to make out of this car is to make it look more aggressive compared to its boxy shaped counterparts. They have certainly achieved in that and have a given a car a bright new look. It certainly looks much better but it is not sporty, and cannot be compared on those terms with the German competition. Yet the car is pretty great and the additions that have made it such include a bolder spindle grille some narrow headlights and some very low air dams with very aggressive fender sculpting. An added features are some Nike-swoosh LED running lights as well.

At the back the same shaped LED taillights are added but the entire back of the car actually resembles the RX version because of its smoothness and family resemblance to this model. Overall speaking, the NX has a muscular chiseled look that cannot be overpassed and when we add the well balanced and swoopy roofline with the addition of some bulging wheels that add to the overall picture. But in order to do something in enhancing the sporty look of the car, it will be offered in a F sport trim as well that might just do the trick.

 

Interior

ON the other hand, the Lexus NX follows a sportier feel and a much more cockpit like look. You may notice a lower hip point of the seats not seen in many crossovers, and some enhanced headroom which is actually a characteristic of many sedan vehicles, but can go with this one as well. The back seats are very spacious but the cargo area does not say so as well. It can be a bit cramped when trying to pack for a trip but on the other hand driving a group of people will not be a problem as they will get to feel much comfortable in longer trips.

The design of the dash can be compared to that of IS vehicle from Lexus as well the layout has been made to be quite similar if not pretty much the same. The most noticeable are the metallic accents with darker and softer materials that are combined with and another characteristic are the large and round gauges that are a part of the instrument cluster. An innovation in the overall design are G sensors with a turbo-boost meter that can come as quite useful.

 

Engine

The engine that is going to be matted under the hood of Lexus NX 300h is a 194-hp NX 300h Atkinson cycle 2.5 liter hybrid one. The standard engine option comes matted with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can make an output of 235-horsepower. The later version on the other hand is expected to make up of 10 percent sales. The vehicle will also come with an all-wheel drive as well, and its powertrain may enable it to reach 0 to 60 mph in just 8.3 seconds total.

 

Price and release date

The release date is not far but yet we cannot guarantee it for sure. We are expecting the Lexus NX 300h to come out this December the latest as it was previously reported. The price on the other hand will remain at 40.000 dollars and we are not expecting for it to rise more than that.
